Repton House is within easy walking distance of Swaffham, an historic market town in Breckland, Norfolk.
Swaffham offers a variety of pubs and restaurants. Other lovely country pubs are within an easy drive.
There is a market in the Square every Saturday.
The town is featured as Market Shipborough in the TV series "Kingdom" with Stephen Fry. Filming restarts in the summer for the 3rd series.
Tourist attractions include:- The lovely unspoilt North Norfolk coast with Blakeney Point, Wells next the Sea, Holkham Hall. Sandringham House and Estate are all within 30/40 minutes drive.
In May/June, "SpringWatch" was filmed at Pensthorpe, a nature reserve, near Fakenham, 25 minutes drive away.
The National Trust House - Oxburgh Hall is nearby with many events held during the year.

There are many walks locally, including the Peddars Way, and the pretty village of Castle Acre with its Castle ruins, Priory and Church is well worth a visit. The lovely tranquil Gooderstone Water Gardens are open all year.
Norwich is a lovely city with much to offer: Cathedral, Castle, Theatres, shopping etc. and is 45 minutes drive.
